Why this mentoring exists
Starting a new year in business can feel inspiring and overwhelming — both often all at once —and if you’re carrying questions about direction, priorities, or even what’s the next best step forward, I promise you’re not alone.
With support from Alexandrina Council, I’m excited to offer council-funded mentoring sessions that provide local business owners with experienced, practical guidance, helping them gain clarity and start 2026 with confidence and purpose.
Over the years, I’ve seen how often business owners try to navigate these moments on their own, feeling pressure to have everything figured out early in the year. These sessions are designed to reduce that pressure. They’re about creating space to pause, reflect, and talk things through with someone who understands the realities of running a business—the decisions, the responsibility, and the weight that comes with it.
What the sessions focus on
These sessions aren’t about generic advice or being told what you should be doing. They’re one-on-one conversations, tailored to you and your business, focused on what will genuinely support you right now.
Together, we can work through things like:

Your mentor
Debbie Constable is an experienced business mentor and leadership development coach with decades of lived experience as a small business owner. She brings that insight to her work, supporting business owners, emerging leaders, and executive teams through tailored mentoring and leadership programs — delivered in partnership with organisations including AIM, The Alternative Board and the University of Adelaide. A DiSC Accredited Facilitator and CEO of TEDx Victor Harbor, Debbie is known for her grounded, relationship-led approach, working closely with clients to help them gain clarity, confidence, and long-term direction.
